SkinSafe Dermatology and Skin Care is currently in-network with Medicare and with most PPO insurance plans, including: Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SAG-AFTRA, Aetna, Cigna and United HealthCare. We are in-network with some employer-sponsored HealthNet plans. The office does not currently accept Medi-Cal or HMO insurance plans.
Cash pay option is available for out-of-network or uninsured patients.
Payment (co-pay, non-covered cosmetic procedures, self-pay) is expected at time of treatment. A superbill with codes can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network plans.
For telemedicine visits (virtual visits with photo submission and videoconferencing), please type: TELEMEDICINE in the subject line. Note that Dr Shainhouse will determine if in-person visit is required.
